Cody Gerszewski (Music/Lyrics Violets-A ROOM WITH A VIEW) is a musical theater actor/composer based in New York City. Originally from North Dakota, Cody studied music theory/composition and specialized in Polyphony, Counterpoint and 20th Century Harmonics. He has gone on to become a proud employee of Music Theatre International’s “Music, Materials, and Product Development” wing, and has been adapting E.M. Forster’s classic novel A ROOM WITH A VIEW since January of 2021. As an actor, Gerszewski studied with Open Jar Studio’s inaugural Musical Theater Residency program in 2016 and has performed with theater companies Off-Broadway, in the tri-state area, and across the country. A ROOM WITH A VIEW has received multiple industry presentations over the last few years, and was most recently presented Off-Broadway at AMT Theater.R Recipient of the Best Pitch Award from the 3rd Annual Broadway Shark Tank.
