The first in our celebration of the work of noted composer & lyricist Ryan Scott Oliver! Based on the photographs of Matthew Murphy, this stunning new multimedia musical explores a groundbreaking new concept in musical theatre, intricately weaving a collection of stories told through music. If a picture is worth 1,000 words – what about a song? Can an image inspire a tune or fifteen? The album of the same title, produced by Sh-k-boom Records, is currently available on i-tunes. 35 MM is directed by DB Bonds with Musical Direction by Rich Silverstein.
Oliver, the recipient of both the Jonathan Larson Award as well as the Richard Rodgers Award for musical theatre, is one ofNew York’s most prolific and exciting young musical artists.
