54 Sings Lerner & Loewe
May 19, 2026
Alan Jay Lerner and Frederick “Fritz” Loewe were one of the most successful composer-lyricist teams during the golden age of the Broadway musical. Join us at 54 Below as we celebrate their partnership with performances of songs from their most beloved scores, including Brigadoon, Paint Your Wagon, Gigi, and Camelot, plus some rarities from their other theater and film collaborations. The event will also feature a special 60th anniversary tribute to the team’s greatest success, My Fair Lady, which opened on Broadway at the Mark Hellinger Theatre on March 15, 1956.
The company of our show includes four Tony Award® nominees — Meg Bussert (Brigadoon) and Martin Vidnovic (Brigadoon), Josie de Guzman (Guys and Dolls, West Side Story), and Robert Cuccioli (Jekyll & Hyde) — alongside Jay Aubrey Jones (Cats, How to Succeed…), Ben Jones (international concert and cabaret star), Tony Award® honoree Gerard Alessandrini (Forbidden Broadway), Alec Nevin (A Bronx Tale national tour), Michael Padgett (My Fair Lady at Saguaro City Music Theatre), and Megan Styrna (Charlotte Sweet at Amas Musical Theatre). 54 Sings Lerner & Loewe is produced, directed, and hosted by Michael Portantiere, with Michael Lavine as musical director/pianist.
