Camp Broadway Presents: Before Broadway with Adam Kantor
January 28, 2018
Camp Broadway® will present Before Broadway, a unique amateur talent showcase featuring an ensemble of 15 aspiring performers, ages 18-22, singing the songs by the Broadway composers who have inspired their dreams of having a career on Broadway. Cast through a national online search by a team of Broadway professionals, the members of the Before Broadway ensemble will make their New York stage debut performing solos, duets, scenes, and stories that reflect their personal journey to Broadway. This 75-minute, one-night-only concert will also feature Broadway veteran Adam Kantor of The Band’s Visit to host the show. Join casting agents and talent managers, theatrical producers, family, friends and future fans to see emerging talent take their shot at Feinstein’s/54 Below because it’s the room where the next Broadway star will be discovered.
“I’m really excited to get to engage with Camp Broadway’s next generation of theatre artists, and hopefully inspire them as much as they are sure to inspire me,” says Kantor.
Adam Kantor has returned to Broadway this fall in the new musical The Band’s Visit, by Itamar Moses and David Yazbek, and directed by David Cromer.
