Merry F-ing Christmas.
After trotting me out all summer for the NYC Fringe Festival, the producers of my show have decided it would be a good idea to have me do a Holiday Show. It’s not. But I do love New York at Christmas time, so come let me and my friends entertain you as we celebrate the Holiday Season.
“In Jay Malsky’s love letter to Stritch, Malsky slaps on her self-imposed uniform: a pair of black tights, black kitten heels and a crisp white shirt, delivering a vulnerable performance” – theasy.com
“Mr. Malsky captures the physical nuance with ease as he morphs into the larger than life character, appearing in her signature garb of black tights and oversized white dress shirt, announcing that ‘I hate pants.'” – Theater Reviews Limited
Mr. Malsky (please don’t call me Jay. That’s my son’s name.) is a New York based improviser and comedy writer. His solo show, Elaine Stritch: Still Here, finished its Fringe run this summer. He misses Whitney Houston every day and prays to Suri Cruise every night “just in case.” You can follow his Hefe-filtered life on Instagram @jaymalsky.
