Please join a Broadway-packed cast in an evening of songs from Rails, benefiting the Alzheimer’s Association. Rails is a 2026 Pipeline Arts Foundation Award-winning original musical by Tom Kenaston and Tom Paitson Kelly! It’s an irreverent, romantic, and uniquely human musical about what happens when the person who gave you your story can no longer hold on to their own.
Jerry’s fiery Irish grandmother is losing her memory, and his attempt to prove he can still care for her at home sends them racing through the stories of her past: wicked nuns, horny leprechauns, and tap-dancing bartenders reveal tales of forbidden romance, family secrets, and more than one train wreck.
With a score traveling from raucous Irish-inflected musical comedy and 1930s swing to aching love songs and contemporary musical theatre, Rails celebrates the messy, funny, and unreliable stories we tell to help us remember who we are.
