Takako (Yoka Wao), Japanese star of movies, television, theatre, and concerts, and her husband, multi-Tony and Grammy Award nominated composer Frank Wildhorn (Jekyll & Hyde, The Scarlet Pimpernel, The Civil War, Dracula, Bonnie & Clyde, Wonderland, Victor/Victoria) bring an international flair to their concert at Feinstein’s/54 Below, celebrating Takako’s Lincoln Center debut as Velma in the Japanese production of the hit Broadway musical, Chicago. Along with Takako, Frank, and his band (Clint de Ganon, David Mann, and Julia Pederson), there will be special guests James Barbour (Phantom of the Opera, Beauty & The Beast), Laura Osnes (Cinderella, Bonnie & Clyde), Keala Settle (Waitress, Hands on a Hardbody), and Kevin Kern (Finding Neverland, Bridges of Madison Country). East meets West in this great celebration of music and love.
