Michael Shapiro and David Christensen met on the border of Florida and Connecticut, graduated from the Boston Conservatory together and went on to complete the prestigious BMI Lehman Engel Musical Theatre Writers Workshop. Following development of their work Cookies, the sordid story of an underground Girl Scout cookie Ponzi scheme, Shapiro & Christen are thrilled to be making their New York City debut at 54 Below. Joined by a host of their favourite Broadway performers singing their latest works from Cookies, It’s a Wonderful World of Warcraft and many more.
