Whim ‘n Rhythm, Yale’s premier all-senior SSAA a cappella, welcomes you to an evening of music and entertainment at 54 Below! Founded just a decade after women were first admitted to Yale, they’re celebrating 45 years of performing and promoting the vital importance of gender equity in higher education and music. From classics such as “Be My Baby” by the Ronettes and the Beatles’ “Eight Days a Week,” to the modern hits like “Pink Pony Club” and “Daddy Lessons,” Whim n’ Rhythm performs a vibrant mix of pop, soul, jazz, and folk for audiences across the world. Whim n’ Rhythm of years past have sung for the White House, multiple U.S. Embassies in Asia, Europe, Africa & Oceania, and for Former President Bill Clinton and Former Secretaries of State Hillary Clinton and John Kerry.
