A finalist in the Red Bull Short New Play Festival and Winner of the Secret Theatre’s Best Play and Best Director awards for his short play Spin, James Zebooker is an actor, writer, director and singer. He had the great fortune of working alongside Stephen Sondheim as Assistant Director of acclaimed Fiasco Theater’s adaptation of Merrily We Roll Along at The Roundabout Theater, and appeared in the Netflix Feature The After Party. He frequently appears downtown at Mezzrow and at Theater Row’s Le Rivage as a jazz vocalist. He contributed writing and appeared in Oliver Houser’s musical Held Momentarily at NYMF, and is beyond grateful and honored to be making his 54 Below debut as part of his astoundingly talented friend Oliver’s concert.
