A Nonprofit Cabaret Venue

One of the most honored stage actors in America, Jim is the recipient of the New York Drama Desk Award, the Washington, DC Helen Hayes Award, two Los Angeles Ovation Awards, Florida’s Carbonell and the Palm Desert Award all for his uncanny portrayal of Zero Mostel in his play, Zero Hour. Legendary producer Hal Prince praised Jim’s performance as “Dazzling! The work of a great artist!”

On Broadway, he has appeared as Andrew McLaren in Brigadoon opposite Christine Ebersole and as Mr. Brownlow in Oliver! opposite Brian Stokes Mitchell. He recently starred at New York’s fabled Palace Theatre in Broadway Backwards with Estelle Parsons. Jim is currently seen as Judge Vernon Windsor on the CBS drama, “The Good Fight” and as Dr. James Carden on Lorne Michaels’ Comedy Central show, “The Other Two.” Jim’s caricature hangs on the wall of Sardi’s, a singular tribute to a forty-year show business career as an actor and playwright…and director!
