Coming from Sumter, South Carolina, Leslie-Payton Alston is a recent master graduate from New York University in Vocal Performance with a concentration in Musical Theater. She attended and received her bachelor’s from Claflin University where she served as Miss Claflin University as well as became a member of the Mu Chapter of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. Spring 2020. She is elated to share this experience amongst the other talented members of Divine 9!
